Invitation to "The Future of Responsible Brain science"

                Dear colleagues,

We are happy to extend an invitation to you for an upcoming online event
about the Future of Responsible Brain Research.
After more than a decade of work, the Human Brain Project is coming to an
end. Since its inception, the project has invested in activities and
research on ethical and social issues related to brain science. We would
therefore like to invite you to join us in considering the questions: What
is the future of responsible brain science? How should we advance work on
neuroethics, society, and philosophy in research and innovation in the
future, practically and conceptually? What is the status of approaches to
developing more socially desirable and sustainable science and technology?

On February 2, 2023, 12-5pm CET, we are hosting an online conference to
reflect on these questions. The programme at a glance:

   - Panel: "Novel Approaches to responsible research and innovation"
   - Panel: "The challenges and opportunities of Interdisciplinary
   collaborations"
   - Keynote " *"On Brains and Machines: The Common Ethical Ground of AI
and Neuroscience"*, by Marcello Ienca, Professor of Ethics of AI and
Neuroscience, Faculty of Medicine, Technical University of Munich and
Senior Researcher, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology
   - Panel: "Future Perspectives on Responsible Brain Science"

Kind regards,
The responsible research and innovation group of the Human Brain Project
