The activities of EASST include a biennial conference within Europe. The most recent conference was held at Trento, Italy in September 2010. Read more about this and other conferences here. Every other conference is held jointly with the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S).
EASST's next biennial conference will be a joint EASST/4S Conference to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark in 17- 20th October 2012. The call for open panel themes received enthusiastic response from the community. 106 panels are available, which have been grouped into 10 subject clusters. Abstracts and Session Proposals can now be submitted. For more information see our 2012 conference page. The deadline for submissions is March 18th 2012.
EASST produces a quarterly newsletter: EASST Review. Read the current issue, highlighted above, or browse the past issues via the link on the left.
Membership of EASST is open to all who share its aims. Reduced membership subscriptions rates are available to students and to those from Eastern Europe and Developing Countries. You can join EASST online here. EASST is also developing its links with National STS associations and Centres.
