GENTLE REMINDER PhD in science and technology studies (STS), ETH Zurich (Switzerland)

Dear colleagues,

We seek a PhD student (4 years) to join our team for the project «Investigating interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity: intersections of practices, culture(s) and policy in collaborative knowledge production» (INTERSECTIONS), funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The position is part of the Group Cultural Studies of Science (CSTS), at the Transdisciplinarity Lab, ETH Zürich (Switzerland). We are a dynamic team studying and applying inter- and transdisciplinary methods and theories.

The PhD candidate will explore the intersections among practices, cultures and policies in order to improve the responsiveness of inter- and transdisciplinary research to address scientific and societal challenges.The candidate will work in close collaboration with other research partners and a diverse group of stakeholders.
