EASST Conference 2022 - Madrid - Invitation to Special Format: "A multimodal guided bus tour through “hot spots” in Madrid"

Dear friends and colleagues,

The ERC Project „Urban vibrations: How physical waves come to matter in contemporary urbanism“ (WAVEMATTERS) based at Humboldt university of Berlin will be convening a special format at this year’s EASST conference in Madrid called: "Sensing and making sense of cities as wave fields. A multimodal guided bus tour through “hot spots” in Madrid“.

We will go on an excursion to three hot spots in Madrid that will inspire imaginations and speculations of various and, in some cases, contradictive urban (and personal) responses to heat.

The tour starts at the 8th of july, 4pm, outside of the conference venue and ends at 7 pm in the city center. More informations can be found here: https://easst2022.org/programotherformats.asp

If interested, please do register before July 6 (we have limited seats on the bus ) by writing an email to elisabeth.luggauer@hu-berlin.de

We will inform you then, if places are still available and send you some instructions to prepare for the ride.

Best, Ignacio Farías, Elisabeth Luggauer and Jorge Martin
